Business Bay, a popular and vibrant business district, is 3 minutes from downtown and the subway, 5 minutes from Safa Park, and 15 minutes from the sea. The name may bring to mind boring jackets and ties, but in fact Business Bay is one of the city’s most vibrant neighborhoods. An idyllic mini-metropolis full of life, a place to see and be seen. Business Bay is traversed by the winding Dubai Water Canal, a man-made canal that connects Old Dubai to the Arabian Gulf. However, the district is best known as home to the renowned La Perle production. Conceived by creative director Franco Dragone, La Perle celebrates the region’s history centered on pearl harvesting in a purpose-built aquatic theater.
