To help you prepare for your stay, VacationServices4You has put together a selection of the best museums and monuments, the most beautiful parks and gardens, and many ideas for visits in the most beautiful capital in the world.

What to do in the 7th arrondissement ? :

Les Invalides : This monument whose golden dome is a landmark in Paris was built in the 17th century under the reign of Louis XIV.
The aim at the time was to create a huge royal hotel capable of receiving and housing all the wounded officers and soldiers and to provide sufficient funds for their needs and maintenance (King’s order of 1674). Hence its original name of Hôtel Royal des Invalides.

The Eiffel Tower : Became the symbol of France and its capital, it is a tower of puddled iron built by Gustave Eiffel and his collaborators for the Universal Exhibition of 1889. Initially named the 300-metre tower, this monument was thought by Eiffel as a “summary of contemporary science”.
It is located at the end of the Champ-de-Mars, on the banks of the Seine.

The Champs de Mars : With a surface area of 25 hectares, the Champ de Mars is a large unenclosed garden accessible day and night. Thanks to its vast lawns, it is therefore very popular with Parisians at aperitif time on sunny days or for a picnic throughout the day. And what more beautiful scenery than the majestic Eiffel Tower !
